The Journey of Kingston

Jason took the day off of work to spend time with Kingston. We can't believe he is fast approaching his 8 month birthday. Jason was feeling nostalgic looking at weekly photographs he took of my ever expanding belly, so he put together a slide show set to "Yellow" by Coldplay, enjoy!

The Children's Museum and Lucas Oil Stadium

Two weeks ago the Wortz, Shades, and Paulsons took family pictures and took a trip to the Children's Museum of Indianpolis. Jason made the mistake of not wearing comfortable shoes and wanted a footrub afterwards, but he knew that wasn't going to happen.

Traders Point Creamery

Sunday, the family visited Traders Point Creamery, a local 100% organic farm. We had brunch at The Loft Restaurant.

Sarah had the yogurt parfait, I tried the grits and chocolate milk, and Kingston had his first taste of blueberries, which I think he liked quite well. We then took a "Safari Tour" of the farm.

It was a pretty bumpy ride, but of course Kingston was fast asleep during most of it.

Afterward, we stopped by the Dairy Bar for ice cream sundaes.

Sarah didn't even share some of her sundae with Kingston!
We will definitely visit TPC again, so Kingston can pet the various baby animals they have. I recommend it to all of those that live in the area.(www.tpforganics.com) Click on Kingston to view all the photos of our day at TPC.

Swimming for the first time

Kingston got to enjoy his first "real" time at the pool on Sunday. He really liked it! I was bound and determined to get to a pool before the end of summer. I hadn't bought my Mom-kini for nothing...LOL. We have a pool in our neighborhood and never take advantage of it. Granted we are always so busy...but still...Kingston needed a little "fun in the sun" before summer was over. He looked adorable in his little swim outfit. :)

A New Path

Today, Sarah had her orientation for her new educational/career path. She is entering Indiana Wesleyan's transition to teacher program to become a licensed health/physical education teacher at the secondary level. We will be one busy family, I am in the process of getting my M.B.A. and now she will be away every Saturday for class and eventually classroom observations and student teaching. It will all be worth it in the long run, it will give Sarah flexibility in a changing job market and allow the federal government to wipe her student loans out after ten years of public service due to recent legislation passed, which is a DEFINITE plus. I still am aiming to become a certified public accountant or a Powerball winner, which ever comes first!
